For the first time, the Ringling Film Department funded an action senior thesis. Incorporating weapons such as knife scenes, gun scenes, and heavy amounts of martial arts.
We flew in a stunt performing team. Coordinated by Justin Ortiz, this team is made up of seasoned champion martial artists who have worked as stunt performers on film sets, such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Cobra Kai, X-Men, and Back In Action.
With stunts comes A LOT more paperwork! As Co-Producer, I had to ensure everything followed SAG-AFTRA requirements. In terms of paperwork, we had to watch our actors like hawks. Tracking and maintaining a system that monitored the whereabouts of actors when they arrive and leave set, makeup, etc.
